A new oath

How long has it been , you called?
A month , year , can’t recall that .
The withering leaves reminds me ,
Isn’t  life  the same way, escaping slowly
Today I took an oath , not to forget you ;
But be myself around you ,
A person who might creep you out ,
A sarcastically cold hearted person ;
Who will not sweet mouth your faults –
No mistakes will be tolerated .
Its up to you now , how long will you hold .

Escape

Someone to critique me, whenever I’m wrong,

Somebody who isn’t judgmental

You seem to be sweet at times-

Uncaring of what I might feel,

The next instant you turn cold

Everything seems to dissolve at once;

So what I do is move away from you

It helps me escape my emotions,

Turn them latent for the time being;

Yet your face, flashes out of nowhere

Breaking the barrier of my  mind.

Little messages

image

She was happy that he sent her a “Good Morning ” message without her sending taking the initiative this time .
But he sent the message to all his contacts .Though she knew that , she was happy because -a person who was hopelessly in love with a guy ( that is her ) , a simple message from him meant a lot .

Don’t love me anymore

A sweet,  cute love story,
Must come to an end –

You have been the perfect gentleman,
Charmed your way through and got my heart

Yet you didn’t see the hole;
The lagging heart beat, you didn’t hear.

Now,  my dear I ask you
Leave me hear and move on,

I can never give you much,
Nor the happiness you deserve.

I’m weak,  but not a tear will I shed While I let you go,

Darling, you were never my choice of love
For you I had only revenge secured,

Like sweet nectar your love enchanted me
Blissful I was,  when I realized my mistake,

So I beg you forget me;
No,  I cannot face you,  not anymore

I  do love you now, but you
Please don’t love me anymore.

Forever Yours

Love no more than a starters word
Was never your choice  of word,

Neither were flowers nor teddies
Your choice of gift.

The only gift from you was a ring –
It sealed our fate forever.

There are no sweet talk between us
Yet a hint of love flows in the air

Romance is a far edged story you wouldn’t listen
Our growing closeness,  will change that story.

Flattering will never be your style,
Will that stop me from loving you?

Never did I think,  will I fall for a man so rugged –
Life has its own way to prove us wrong,

I know not when you’ll confess your love for me
But I cannot delay it any longer;

I cannot stay apart from you
And wanna be yours,  forever yours.

Harappa’s lost seal-the uneven match

I am sorry to have broken my promise again and not being able to post it yesterday. If anyone is interested in reading the Introduction of this series they’ll find it here

DISCLAIMER: The characters and incidents in thia story are fictious with no resemblance to real personalities.
Chapter 2
He did know it would be difficult to find her but to what level he was not sure, the search party has been assigned the task of summoning her yet she was not found. She belonged to the warrior class and after separating from him the last he heard about her was she went out of the fortified city near the Sumer borders and was assigned a higher post to lash the formers out.
He still remembers how unhappy his father had been when he put forwarded his wish to marry her,  nor was his mother too happy about this union. He could guess his father’s reasons, the man disliked women of lower ground and if his son was set to marry a woman of warrior class that would be the most embarrassing situation for him. Yet he agreed, being the elder some of a Parama Chandrayu Chahel had the right to choose his wife. But he couldn’t understand his mother’s aggressive behavior towards his wife. The former was the only lady from the family who adored the girl and now suddenly she turned against her. It was not until his was in his death bed,  that he came to know her reasons “She’s your step -mother “, his father barely whispered “father you should rest now “, he had said to which the old man lightly chuckled and said “I’ll rest from tonight, listen to me now;  your mother wanted Swahayne for her own son,  your  younger brother Adrij,  but when she saw that instead of Her son,  Swahayne hot married to you she couldn’t let both of you be together “. That night true to his words his father left this world for heavenly abode.

What none of them knew and perhaps will never come to know,  Swahayne herself was against this union

.

He was about to be the future leader when he turned twenty-five,  and she had to spend her life fighting battles. He had known her since she was a kid,  she was Adrij’s closest friend and has been visiting their mansion for a long time. Chahel was in love with her since then. He would allow her to try out various mischievous activities on him. Thinking of those memories brought an enigmatic smile on his face. She slowly grew up to be a beautiful lady and a fiery one at that.

He knew she would be just when she returned from her Pratyakshin. But when he proposed her she declined his proposal. Later he with the help of his brother convinced her to protect him, from a pretencious problem,  which was possible only through marriage.

The seals were a totally different story,  she knew their importance and would never break the family trichome seals  intentionally,  even more so steal the most precious Kritaksh seal, because she would already be gone by then.

“Parama we found her, ” one of his guards informed him.Silently relieved at the news he followed them.

Trust a building block for relationship

For any relationship to prolong the must trust each other same is the case for a romantic relationship.

image

While building a relationship it is always asked that both the partners should be true to each other and this can only bring trust in their lives. A little lie may lead to a heap of lies further breaking the relation. For a heart broken person its very difficult to overcome their lovelorn lives and trust someone else.
For them it is advised every person is not same, your new partner may not have the same likes and dislike as the older, there may be difference in their character so just try to keep an open mind for them. The ones who choose to be their partners should be prepared for every ball they throw in your because if you truly love them you’ll want to be with them forever. Your partner may turn hysterical at times or be suspicious in your conduct with your friends of opposite sex. Just make them understand that it is them who you love not your friend.
Love them a lot, never let them feel lonely. Best of luck.

Poetry Time Friday #4

Today the poem that we will be discussing here was written by Robert Browning. Browning was born in Walwarth in the parish of Camberwell Surrey,  South London.  He was from a very wealthy family and his father had huge collection of books in his personal library, so it can be said that he had
significant literary resources.
Robert’s inspiration for romantic poems was his wife Elizabeth B. Browning. She was a poet herself.  She had written a great deal of romantic poems herself and was also the composer of Aurora Leigh. She was six years his senior yet their love lasted for lifetime.
The Meeting at Night was written by Robert Browning while courting Elizabeth in 1845 and later they eloped in 1846 because her father was against their marriage.

The poem is very colorful and it also consists of imageries. When the poet speaks of Grey Sea,  Black Land or yellow half moon he is motioning us towards a colorful landscape.  ” Miles of warm sea scented beach ” or “fiery ringlets from their sleep ” are imageries.  The poem also consists of a rhyming scheme of abccba. Check out the last word of first and last line of any stanza and then the last word of second and fifth line, finally that of third and fourth line. All these words rhyme with each other.
In the first stanza the poet describes the landscape near a beach on a half moon night and the way the waves leap at each other helps his ship to reach his destination faster.
In the second stanza he explained the way he crossed the beach and fields to reach his lover’s farm. After having reached there he lightly tapped on her window pane and then may be she heard him because he immediately heard a screeching sound. Then a lamp was lit with a match stick.
There was silence everywhere. Though meeting his lover brought him some joy,  he was afraid,  perhaps of being watched by someone. But the fear couldn’t hold its place because they were too much happy to meet each other finally.
